Sevenoaks Visual Arts Forum Open 22 August – 21 September 2013 Private View Invitation Thursday 22 August  6–8pm  Image Credit: Marion Fullerton, 2013 This exhibition is a showcase of work selected by the gallery following an open submission process for members of the Sevenoaks Visual Arts Forum. The forum is an artist-led initiative that offers artists and makers an opportunity to meet, discuss their work, support each other and network. Primarily set up to serve artists and makers with a connection to the Sevenoaks area, it also welcomes artists from all neighbouring areas and at all stages of their career. Forum meetings are held monthly in the Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery and usually feature a speaker or a presentation of work. Exhibiting artists: Margaret Barrett, Ann Bridges, Sandie Camilleri, Andrea Coltman, Christa Corner, Di Drummond, Marion Fullerton, Claire Gill, Sharon Hall Shipp, David Minton, Juliet Simpson, Andrew Stanford, Sue Vass, Phil Woodward. The Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery is a contemporary space run by Kent County Council to show new and experimental work from local artists. The exhibition is free to visitors and runs from 22 August – 21 September.

The 10@9 gallery opened on Saturday 10th in Tunbridge Wells and runs for two weeks. The exhibition organised by Ceramacist Claire Palastanga is her third Pop Up in the Pantiles and showcases work by ten local artists and makers.  The exhibition is open daily from 10-5pm at no 9 The Pantiles and there will be a late night opening on Thursday 15th August.
